Fifth International Iris Murdoch Conference
Friday 10 September 2010 - Saturday 11 September 2010
The conference will explore the relationship between Iris Murdoch's work and the concept of marginality in its broadest terms. It will consider how Murdoch's literature and/or philosophy engages with what it means to live on the margins in terms of issues such as - but not limited to - sexuality, gender, race, class, national identity and religion.
