Muybridge Revolutions
Saturday 18 September 2010 - Saturday 12 February 2011
This exhibition focuses on arguably the rarest surviving Muybridge objects within the Kingston Museum collection, the glass zoopraxiscope discs - items which straddle the disciplinary boundaries between photography, art, animation and cinematography.
The exhibition also includes examples of his lecture slides, some of his equipment and a scrapbook charting his phenomenal career.
Accompanying the exhibition will be a public programme including a series of lectures and workshops, and learning programme for schools.
