Kingston's graduation photographers are called Tempest. Before your ceremony starts they'll be ready and waiting to take a picture of you in your hat and gown, certificate in hand (hopefully smiling and with your eyes open).

There's no need to book or pay in advance, just turn up around two hours before your ceremony to ensure you have enough time to get the photographs you want.

Choose your picture

There are two services available:

• The Classic Service – which includes having your photograph taken against a standard backdrop. You can ask for individual and group photographs.

• Studio B3 – which is a bespoke service offering graduates and their guests more studio time and the choice of black and white or colour photographs. Again you can ask for individual and group photographs.

How much will it cost?

Although you can't place orders before your photograph is taken, you can find examples of prices and packages on the Tempest website, along with their terms and conditions. Go to www.tempest-graduations.co.uk.

Pictures of your presentation

Your picture will be taken as you shake the Vice-Chancellor's hand on stage at the Rose Theatre. You can see it and buy it at the theatre after the ceremony.

And don't worry if you don't have time to get it then. A few weeks after your ceremony, pictures of the presentation will be posted on Tempest's website.

Capturing the moment

The Tempest photographers will also be wandering around on the day, taking casual snaps. These photos will appear a few weeks after your graduation ceremony in our photo galleries.

Other photography companies

It has come to our attention that there are other photography companies operating in the Kingston area offering graduation photography. Please note that these companies are not supported by the University, so there is no guarantee of quality and if you choose to use a company other than our official graduation photographers, Tempest, it is at your own risk.
