Here you can find information about how to get to iQ Wave:


By train:

Frequent trains run to Kingston from London (every 12 minutes), leaving from Waterloo mainline station. You can find out more from National Rail Enquiries.

On leaving the station, turn right and walk up Wood Street. Follow the road as it curves to the left and iQ Wave will be on the right hand side, opposite the Bentall Centre. The walk will take approximately five minutes.


By bus:

The following buses run to Kingston from London:

  • 57 (from Streatham)
  • 65 (from Ealing)
  • 71 (from Chessington)
  • 85 (from Putney Bridge)
  • 111 (from Heathrow)
  • 131 (from Wimbledon)
  • 213 (from Sutton)
  • 281 (from Hounslow)
  • 285 (from Heathrow via Feltham)
  • 371 (from Richmond)

The University also has its own bus service, which runs during term time and is free to University students and staff.

By car:

From the North

  • Take the M1 to junction 6a (the M25) and then the M25 to junction 13 (the A30). Follow the signs to the A308 (Kingston) through Staines, Sunbury and Hampton Court towards Kingston Bridge.
  • Go over Kingston Bridge and under the John Lewis store. iQ Wave is immediately on your left on the first turning – Vicaridge Road

From London and the West

  • Follow the A3 to the Robin Hood Roundabout, taking the right lane filter onto Kingston Vale (A308).
  • Follow the signs to Kingston which will take you down London Road and Fairfield North.
  • Turn right onto Wood Street and follow the road until you see the signs for the Bentall Centre and John Lewis carparks. You will need to turn off Wood Street onto Steadfast Road.
  • iQ Wave is on the Kingston side of Kingston Bridge.

From the airports

From Heathrow

  • Catch the 111 or 285 bus straight to Kingston upon Thames; or
  • Take the Piccadilly line Underground service to Earls Court, where you need to change to the District Line. Alight at Wimbledon and catch a Kingston-bound mainline train.

From Gatwick

  • Take a train to Clapham Junction and then catch a Kingston-bound train from there.
