Standard rooms

Our standard rooms offer:

  • a mid-range bedroom with a wash basin;
  • rooms arranged in flats with three to eight students sharing a kitchen and showers;
  • non-smoking accommodation; and
  • internet access in your room.

You pay £105.50 per week and usually have a 40-week tenancy. This is the cost for the 2011/12 academic year.

If you'd like to be considered for one of these rooms, select 'standard' as one of your three preferences when you apply online.

They are most suitable for students studying at the Penrhyn Road or Knights Park campuses.

Our standard rooms are located at Middle Mill and Kingston Bridge House.

Middle Mill

Middle Mill is just two minutes' walk from Knights Park, five minutes' walk from Penrhyn Road and very close to Kingston town centre. There are 204 rooms, arranged in flats with three to eight students sharing a kitchen, showers and toilets.

Kingston Bridge House

Kingston Bridge House is 10 minutes' walk from both Penrhyn Road and Knights Park, plus very close to Kingston town centre. There are 218 rooms (42 rooms are reserved for nursing students), arranged in flats with five to seven students sharing a kitchen, showers and toilets.
