1) Hang your favourite memory on the memory tree to win a yearbook

What do I need to do?

Choose a coloured tag that best represents your time at Kingston University and write on it a favourite memory of being a Kingston student.

Terms and conditions

  • To enter, you must be eligible to attend your graduation that will take place either between 20–28 July 2017 or 15–19 January 2018.
  • Entries must be made at the Operation Graduation event taking place between Monday 6 and Tuesday 14 March 2017.
  • By entering your agree to the University using your quote on social media or as part of a memory board.
  • Winners will be chosen at random.
  • Once the winners are drawn, they will be contacted via their Kingston University email address and personal email address. Winners must email the graduations team (graduations@kingston.ac.uk) by Tuesday 18 April to claim their prize. If they do not contact us by this date they forfeit their prize and a new winner will be drawn.
  • Prizes cannot be transferred, changed or returned.
  • The graduations team reserve the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the competition and/or the rules without notice for any event that is outside of reasonable control.
  • Any changes to the rules, or cancellation of the competition, will be posted on the Kingston University Graduations: Class of 2017 Facebook page and it is the responsibility of entrants to keep themselves informed as to any changes to the rules.

2) Tag yourself in the photo booth to win your official photography package (practice your handshake)

What do I need to do?

Take part in our 'Class of 2017' photo booth by posing with props on your own or with your mates. We will be uploading the photos from the roadshow onto the Kingston University Graduations: Class of 2017 Facebook page.

Terms and conditions

  • To enter, you must be eligible to attend your graduation that will take place either between 20–28 July 2017 or 15–19 January 2018.

  • You must tag yourself in the photo uploaded to the Kingston University Graduations: Class of 2017 Facebook page by Friday 24 March 2017 in order to enter the competition.
  • By having your photo taken you agree to the University uploading it to our social media pages and using the photos as a part of a memory board.
  • Winners will be chosen at random.
  • Once the winners are picked, you will be contacted via your Facebook page and it will be announced on the Kingston University Graduations: Class of 2017 Facebook page. Please check your 'other' inbox.
  • You must email the graduations team (graduations@kingston.ac.uk) by Tuesday 18 April to claim your prize. If you do not contact us by this date you forfeit your prize and a new winner will be drawn.
  • Prizes cannot be transferred, changed or returned.

3) Hat Hoopla – throw as many hats on the mannequin as you can in a minute to win your gown hire

What do I need to do?

At the Operation Graduation stands at Penrhyn Road and Kingston Hill atrium, there will be a mannequin and a hat. Throw the hat onto the mannequin as many times as possible in a minute. Timing and counting will be done by a member of the graduations team.

4) Scrolls in a jar – guess how many scrolls there are in the jar to win graduation goodies

What do I need to do?

There will be a jar filled with mini scrolls. You will just need to guess how many scrolls there are in the jar. The closest guess will win some graduation goodies including a class of 2017 hoodie, a scroll holder and a bear. One lucky winner could win all three!
