Kingston's best campaign yet

Kingston University's Annual Fund Spring telephone campaign once again exceeded expectations, raising more than ever before. A six-week campaign running through March, April and May raised more than £66,000 in donations, a fantastic testament to the generosity and regard that you, our alumni, have for the University.

Read the latest University newsAs always, the Kingston students who make these telephone calls, enjoyed the experience immensely. James Cornwell, a construction management student, commented upon the positive career feedback that he got from many of the calls that he made. "Talking to people in the industry that I am heading for was a real joy. It also made me feel more confident about my future, and I also found it inspiring to see exactly where many of yesterday's students have ended up in life. Plus it gave me a great feeling of pride to make such a difference."

Like James says, your gifts truly make a difference to the projects we support: the Student Hardship Fund, helping those students who encounter financial difficulties through no fault of their own – the Opportunities Fund, with its prime goal of enhancing the overall experience of students – postgraduate scholarships, a part of the Fund that ensures Kingston University manages to attract the finest students – and finally, the Whitten Fund, helping geoscientist students with the often expensive costs of field trips.

If you missed the campaign but would still like to make a donation, you can do so online.

A big thank you to all of you for your support!
