Paul has been General Manager of Exploration Resources with the Africa-focused gold mining company Randgold Resources since 2004. His experience as a geologist was gained mainly in West Africa, where he worked for Rio Tinto, Anglo American and Ashanti in the search for new gold mines.
Paul's first class honours degree in geology from Kingston University was followed with a masters in mineral exploration and mining geology from Leicester University in 1994. More recently he has been appointed a Senior Visiting Research Fellow at Kingston University in recognition of his research links and high professional standing in the minerals industry.
