ATR at Kingston Hill

The ATR at Kingston Hill has six workstations. All workstations are networked and so students have access to the central applications as well as the faculty-specific ones.

Every workstation has a scanner attached.

The room also has other equipment including a split screen CCTV and different keyboards such as large letter keys and yellow on black keys.

There is a networked printer in the room. Any work printed here is sent straight away to the printer and you are charged as soon as you print your work.

In addition there is a range of specialist software packages designed specifically for users with disabilities including dyslexia.
Two such packages, Texthelp Read and Write and Inspiration, are also available on all the Information Services workstations.

There is an audible fire alarm and a visual fire alarm in the ATR.

All workstations have easily accessible Push Button alarms in case of an emergency.
