About Graduate2Business
What is g2b?
Graduate2business (g2b) is a new employment support initiative for graduates and professionals who are residents of Kingston and who are currently unemployed or at risk of being unemployed.
The service offers a programme of workshops, one2one employment advice and paid projects.
Who's it for?
Residents of Kingston who are currently unemployed or at risk of being unemployed and who hold a degree or level 4 FE qualification – recent or not.
It’s also for employers of Kingston who may have a project or internship that they could offer graduates but do not have the funds to do so – graduate2business will also fund a number of internships and projects in the Kingston area.
When does it start?
Now! The service is already up and running, and people are already getting help. The service will run until autumn 2010.
Who's behind it?
Graduate2business is a joint initiative between the Higher Education Funding Council of England, the Royal Borough of Kingston, Kingston University, Kingston Chamber of Commerce, and Kingston College.
