Tonia Galati, Talent Development and Employability Manager

Tonia Galati

Tonia leads the team and plays a key role in developing the University's employability strategy, aimed at improving Kingston's student and graduate career prospects. She works with industry professionals, employers and professional bodies to ensure the service is up to date with employer and student needs, as well as securing sponsorship and creating new innovative programmes. Tonia is constantly striving for excellence from the team and is driven by seeing students succeed.

Jon Eastwood, Employability Consultant (Faculty of Science, Engineering and Computing)

Jon has extensive employment support experience within both graduate recruitment and the public sector. He has worked on number of high profile youth employment projects and initiatives aimed at increasing the skills and employment prospects of students and recent graduates. He has a wealth of experience providing career advice and support in individual and group settings.

Sam Gerrard, Employability Consultant (SME and Revenue Generation)

Sam leads the SME relationship management division on behalf of KU Talent. Using her extensive experience in business development, Sam works in partnership with SME organisations to build tailored solutions to support employer needs and create a pipeline of employment opportunities for students and graduates. Helen Green, Careers Consultant

Helen Green

Helen has been delivering careers support to students and graduates for nine years across various sectors and has experience of working in international business schools. Helen works to support Kingston's international students to secure opportunities globally and gain exposure to the British job market.

Ashley Harrison, Employability Consultant (Faculty of Art, Design & Architecture)

Ashley has over 5 years' experience as an employment coach with a background in recruiting and team management. Ashley is extremely passionate about the personal development of others and has been responsible for a number of projects bringing industry insights to students within the universit

Ray Harte, Careers Consultant

Ray Harte

Ray is the oracle of the team and has a wealth of experience in the HE careers sector. Ray works to support students who need careers guidance on a one-to-one basis and provides coaching to those who need it. Ray works closely with the Kingston disability advisers to promote specific job opportunities to disabled students.

Nayiri Keshishi, Employability Consultant (Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences)

Nayiri Keshishi

After graduating from Kingston, in Law, Nayiri worked briefly as a legal assistant and in digital marketing before taking part in the Ambitious Futures Graduate Scheme. Now, as an employability consultant, she uses her recent university experience and understanding of applying for graduate schemes to help students in all aspects of their employability.

Natasha Panes, Employability Consultant (Faculty of Science Engineering and Computing)

Natasha has over six years' experience in employability, managing large teams of employment coaches and advisors and guiding them in providing the right support and advice to a very diverse audience. Natasha was also part of the UK's largest recruitment drive in the Olympic games recruitment team and has worked in collaboration with charities and community projects across south London. Natasha is particularly passionate about the development of others. She uses her experience to coach & train students, while adding industry knowledge to her delivery.

Lesley Stigling, Talent Officer (Recruitment)

With a background in corporate banking & Finance, Advertising & Media and Recruitment, Lesley is responsible for working with students to ensure they are  well prepared for opportunities, s.  In addition, working to ensure industry recruitment needs are met and that Kingston University continues to produce high quality candidates.

Karl Watson, Employability Officer

Karl Watson

Karl has worked in several large organisations within an HR function. Karl looks after numerous different projects within the team including supporting graduates into work, working closely with specific employers to help them recruit and working with other departments to set up mentoring and other support for specific student groups.

Nick Winham, Talent Acquisition Consultant

Experienced in recruitment, Nick has come from a globally recognised travel company, working on multiple recruitment campaigns in order to spot and recruit the best talent for a variety of well-established brands within the UK. Nick leads the Talent Acquisition Team within KU Talent and is responsible for ensuring that Kingston students and graduates are aware of  opportunities to them and to ensure a suite of training and development activities are delivered so candidates are prepared for interview. Nick works with employers to ensure that the preparation activity is in line with industry needs so that Kingston Students can be matched to opportunities more effectively.
