Building on the success of the KU Talent Awards and in recognition of our students, The Talent Awards has broadened this year to encompass the wider achievements and engagement of our students, and their participation in university life and beyond.
The Awards will be judged by an independent panel with shortlisted applicants invited to celebrate at the inaugural Awards night on Friday 11 March 2016.
This award is for an external organisation or an individual who has shown active engagement with the University and its students. Applicants must be able to show the clear benefit(s) for Kingston students and the impact the work has had on the student experience.
Please note: you can apply both as an organisation AND an individual for this award.
Eligibility criteria: any external organisation or individual, not currently employed by the University.
This award recognises current and former Kingston Univerity students, as well as external partners who have mentored, or are currently mentoring a Kingston student. Mentors can be nominated by their mentees or a member of staff. As an applicant, you need to demonstrate how the mentor has supported the mentee(s) and the impact of this interaction on the students own development and progression. We are particularly looking for mentors who have gone over and beyond the expected commitment of the scheme or programme.
Eligibility criteria: anyone who is currently participating or has participated in a Kingston University mentoring scheme as a mentor.
If you are external to the University, but would like to nominate a student for one of the student awards, please contact the Student Engagement and Enhancement team for further details on 020 8417 7445.
