A simple service of Morning Prayer will be held in the Spirituality & Faith Centre (Town House 8) on Thursday mornings The service will start at 8.30am and conclude by 8.50am. Silence will be observed for 10 minutes beforehand for those wishing to arrive early.
The service will follow the pattern set out in Common Worship, the Church of England's framework for communal worship. It will involve a sequence of set prayers (collects and canticles), psalms, scripture readings and intercessions.
All staff and students at the University are welcome.

Truth & Salvation
During the summer term the Group will explore a number of the thorny issues that underpin religious belief and whch frequently emerge when the claims of different faith perspectives are brought together. We will consider the questions of truth, reconciliation and eternal destiny and learn about how these are understood from a variety of different faith perspectives.

Open to all students & staff.

A simple vegetarian lunch is provided.

What does the Bible say about the Environment? This will provide an opportunity to consider Biblical texts relating to creation, the unity of heaven and earth and the attitudes and actions Christians are encouraged to adopt with respect to the environment.
