Pastoral Care and Prayer Requests
Someone to talk to?
The Chaplaincy offers confidential pastoral support to all students and staff, whatever their religious convictions. If you need someone to talk to, you are welcome to drop in at the Chaplaincy Centre or contact us to arrange a meeting at a place and time to suit you. It's free, independent and confidential. You do not need to have a religious faith in order to make use of the Chaplaincy.
Someone to pray with?
Many people feel that they want to pray but don't know how to begin. As well as support through listening and informal counselling, we are also able to pray with those who wish it.
Someone to help organise a service?
We can help to arrange religious services to support you in times of crisis, change and celebration:
- Baptisms
- Confirmations
- Weddings
- Funerals and Memorial Events
- and other occasional services
Prayer Requests
Is there a concern you would like us to pray about? There are regular services organised by the Chaplaincy during term time, and we welcome requests for prayer. If the matter is confidential please say so when you contact us and no names will be used in services.
Drop-In Sessions
The Chaplain is available for listening, support, information and advice at weekly drop in sessions on different campuses. See StudentSpace for details.
For further information and to send prayer requests please contact the Chaplain
