Student Support in the School of Pharmacy & Chemistry
Students are assigned a Personal Tutor who, as well as administering the PDPs (Personal Development Plans), offers front-line support on academic and non-academic matters. The Personal Tutor may refer students to the relevant Course Director for more detailed information and advice about the course and about academic regulations.
Students who have a non-academic difficulty about which they prefer not consult a member of teaching staff, may contact the Student Support Officer directly. Students may also be referred to the Student Support Officer by a member of the teaching staff.
Personal Tutors, Course Directors and the Student Support Officer may refer students on to the appropriate central Student Support services eg Accommodation, Health & Counselling, Disability & Dyslexia, or students can contact these services directly.
Students with administrative queries should contact the Student Office.
