Centre for Public Engagement inaugural conference: Patient and public involvement in higher education – what does it look like?

Increasingly, universities are required to involve patients and public in the design and delivery of their programmes. But what is it that policy makers and regulatory bodies are looking for from universities? How can educators effectively involve patients and the public in higher education to meet these regulatory obligations? And how do patients and the public want to be involved?

This conference will address these issues and their associated challenges. A range of stakeholders, including service users and carers, regulators and teaching staff, will give their perspective, and share their experiences and expertise on this contemporary and important topic.
