Dutilleux at 95

The distinguished French composer Henri Dutilleux celebrates his 95th birthday in January 2011. To celebrate this milestone, this study day assesses his position in the contemporary music scene through examinations of his technique, composition and aesthetics, including reference to his most recent works.

Keynote address by Professor Julian Anderson (Guildhall School of Music and Drama); other speakers include Dr Caroline Potter (Kingston University) and Dr Caroline Rae (Cardiff University).

 Free: contribution of £10 towards refreshments appreciated for waged attenders
