Research leader seminar: Changes and Persistence in Self Employment Rates in England and Wales 1921- 2011

Our first "Research Leader Seminar", with Professor David Storey OBE a prestigious speaker from the area of entrepreneurship and the most cited researcher in Europe. His work has influenced academic thinking and policy making.

About the speaker

Professor David Storey, OBE received the International Award for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Research from the Swedish Council in 1998 and was awarded a Wilford White fellowship in 2008.

He has published in journals such as Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of International Business Studies, Human Resource Management (USA), British Journal of Industrial Relations, Journal of Management Studies, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Research Policy, Regional Studies, Oxford Economic Papers, Journal of Banking and Finance, Omega and Journal of Business Finance and Accounting.

He has a First Class Degree in Economics, a Diploma in Applied Statistics and a PhD in Economics and is currently the most cited researcher in Europe.
