Interdisciplinary Hub for the Study of Health and Age-related conditions (IhSHA) A Kingston University Research Centre of Excellence

You are cordially invited by the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Computing to celebrate the launch and achievements of Interdisciplinary Hub for the Study of Health and Age-related conditions (IhSHA), a Research Centre of Excellence.

This is the first and most established of the three Research Centres in the Faculty and we shall be presenting research highlights and successes conducted under each of the seven themes:

  • Diabetes and Cardiovascular Pathologies
  • Cancer Research
  • Vision Cognition and Neuroscience
  • Drug Discovery, Delivery and Patient Care
  • Infection and Immunity
  • Sport, Exercise, Nutrition and Public Health Research
  • Technologies for Active and Assisted Living

The event will be hosted by the Associate Dean (Research and Enterprise) and IhSHA Centre Director Professor Barbara Pierscionek with presentations from theme leaders and student representatives. This will be followed by networking and discussion of how research conducted in IhSHA and across the Faculty can support internal and external innovation and lead to collaborations in research and development.
