Big Butterfly Count 2016

The big butterfly count is a nationwide survey aimed at helping Butterfly Conservation assess the health of our environment. It was launched in 2010 and has rapidly become the world's biggest survey of butterflies.

More than 52,000 people took part in 2015, counting more than 580,000 individual butterflies and day-flying moths across the UK. Last year at Kingston University we managed to get all of our sites surveyed to contribute to this important survey. Help us achieve this again in 2016 by taking part in the University's 2016 Big Butterfly Count.

Specific dates are to be confirmed.
