Business Breakfast: Cyber Security for Small Business Owners

This business breakfast event covers how to keep your business safe from fraud and data security breaches. It is organised by the Digital Behaviour Research Group and London Digital Security Centre (LDSC).

Programme

Patrick Nuttall, CISSP, Head of LDSC
My role as head of the London Digital Security Centre (LDSC), required leading a team of professionals from industry, law enforcement and local government to help secure and protect London's micro to medium size businesses against cyber risks and threats.

DC Tara Owens, FALCON, MetPolice
DC Tara Owens is part of the Metropolitan Police's Fraud and Linked Crime Online (FALCON) unit that is comprised of the Met's dedicated Fraud and Cyber investigators. The mission of FALCON is to reduce the harm caused by fraud and cyber criminals in London; they aim to proactively target cyber criminals and fraudsters, particularly Organised Crime Groups. DC Owens will talk about their prevention work with industry partners that designs out crime, tackles the enablers of cyber crime & fraud and raises awareness within the public and businesses.

Sajid Nawaz Khan, Santander UK. IT Governance and Information Security
Sajid Nawaz Khan is a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst working within Santander UK's Information Security team. He will be presenting a talk on Banking Malware and providing practical advice on how businesses can better protect themselves from falling victim to these types of attacks.
The speakers will be discussing how businesses can stay secure in the digital age.
