An evening with Lord Phillips

Kingston Law School is inviting staff, students and alumni to an exclusive talk by The Right Honourable The Lord Phillips KG, PC. Lord Phillips is a retired Law Lord and past President of the Supreme Court of England and Wales.

Lord Phillips was an appeal Lord until the House of Lord's judicial functions were transferred to the new Supreme Court opened by the Queen in October 2009. He was appointed to the Supreme Court in 2012 and is its second President.

The evening will see Lord Phillips talking to staff, students and alumni about his hugely successful career spanning a number of years, he will focus on some of the highlights of his career, whilst also answering questions pre-submitted by the students.

This event will provide a unique opportunity to hear from a retired Law Lord and past President of the Supreme Court. The talk is from 6.30 - 7.30 p.m. and will be held in the Lawley Lecture Theatre.

Welcome drinks and registration is from 6.00 p.m. and the evening will be followed by a short drinks reception.

Booking is essential to attend this event.
