Dr Jonathan Black, Exhibition Curator and Senior Research Fellow in History of Art, Kingston University will hold his talk, 'Soaring into the Cerulean Blue': Sydney Carline as Fighter Pilot and War Artist at the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art.

War in the Sunshine offers very different perspectives on this late phase of World War One, fought in what was undoubtedly one of the most formidable and challenging terrains of the entire conflict.

War in the Sunshine, The British in Italy 1917-1918 runs from 13 January - 19 March 2017.
