An evening on "Investments and Trading" with:

  • Simon Warren of the Society of Technical Analysts
  • Bryant Nielson of CapitalWave, the organizers of the University Trading Challenge (UTC)
  • Our Kingston University winners of the UTC 2016

Simon Warren from the Society of Technical Analysts (STA) used to manage £5bn of regulated funds in London. He has professional qualifications in accounting, financial risk management and project management. He believes that the skill-sets that added most value to his employers and to his career are the must have disciplines of Charting, Technical Analysis and Behavioural Finance.

Simon will tell you how you can use Technical Analysis in your professional career or for personal use. The Society of Technical Analysts (STA) offers courses on Technical Trading and coaching for the exams to their STA certification, which is highly respected and recognised by the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI)

Bryant Nielson is the founder of CapitalWave Inc., which is a global financial training company, and an established leader of technology enabled simulation platforms.

Bryant will talk about their programmes for training traders and analysts for top investment banks like the Goldman Sachs. He will also tell us more about the University Trading Challenge in the USA and the UK, where our Kingston University Teams have had fantastic success over the past few years

Bryant Nielson will present the Trophies to our Kingston University winners in this year's UTC.

At the end of the event you will have the opportunity to meet and talk to Simon Warren, Bryant Nielson and the Kingston University winners in this year's UTC.
