Research Seminar Series 2017: Fish swim, birds fly, and everything's an animal - preschool concepts of taxonomic groups

Previous research has established that learners can misclassify animals by failing to follow the rules of accepted animal classification.

The current study attempts to explore the classification knowledge of preschool children in the search for patterns in the way that taxonomic knowledge progresses between the ages of 3–5 years, in order to illuminate any potential origins of misconceptions.

Booking is essential to attend this event.
