Jazz First Tuesday: Terence Collie

This well-known and much loved series of free lunchtime jazz concerts is sponsored by Kingston University and showcases a mixture of perennial favourites and emerging artists.

The founder and organiser of Mood Indigo Events, pianist and composer Terence Collie performs regularly on the jazz scene running a monthly house trio at the Jazz Café Posk and Riverside Arts Jazz, as well as playing and recording with his jazz fusion group Prison Break. Terence has played at all the notable London jazz clubs as well as the London, Cheltenham, Jersey and TW12 Jazz Festivals and performed with artists including Kyle Eastwood, Gilad Atzmon, Dave O'Higgins, Bobby Wellins, Nigel Price, Vasilis X, Gabriel Garrick and many others.  For Jazz First Tuesday his quartet will feature the renowned and talented Graham Flowers on trumpet.

Graeme has performed and recorded extensively in pop and jazz with Quincy Jones, Michael Bublé, The Brand New Heavies, The James Taylor Quartet, Jamie Cullum, Jools Holland, Carleen Anderson, Mica Paris and toured with Kyle Eastwood.  He has played with Tom Scott, Charlie Hunter, The BBC Big Band, Gregory Porter, The London Horns, Cubana Bop, Dominic Miller, and Down the to the Bone.
