Mindfulness Meditation Series: being in the present

Am I tuned into the present moment, enjoying the beauty of the scene in front of me? Or am I thinking of the past, something that I cannot rewind and change? Am I uncertain about the future and worrying about the "what if"? A chance to experience what life is like if I am free enough to be present.

This event is aimed at anyone who wants to find ways to calm their mind, be more mindful and experience the beautiful feelings that lie behind the overthinking mind. The seminar will offer a model of understanding as to what happens in our mind as we are challenged by everyday events. It will also give some tips for being more present.

Margaret Barron is a meditation instructor for the last 25 years. She has particular interest in how transformative thinking and personal practice work together to make mindfulness practical for everyday living. She has a degree in Adult Education & Training and works as a Personal Development Trainer.
