Upgrade Masterclass: Millennials, Mobility and Technology: How to thrive in the changing world of work

Our changing economy has led to a rise in entrepreneurship and this is now commonly viewed as the fastest, most reliable way to become wealthy. Combined with increased automation, the world of work is changing rapidly, with research showing 30 per cent of jobs in 60 per cent of organisations will be automated by 2030*.

Kingston University alumna, Michelle Raymond (HRM, 2011), will explore this radical change in the world of work in more detail, with insights from her wide-ranging experience of HR and coaching the SME sector. She will also give you the opportunity to test out your business ideas and help you capitalise on these major economic changes.

About Upgrade masterclasses

Upgrade your professional skills with this annual series of masterclasses. Kingston University Alumni Association, Kingston Entrepreneurs Society and Kingston Business School present a collaborative series of events aimed at students and alumni. The masterclasses will explore a variety of different areas, with the intention of developing skills and 'upgrading' everyone who attends. As well as self-improvement, the masterclasses will provide a fantastic opportunity for students, alumni and industry professionals to network and share ideas; and Kingston University is a hive of ideas. We have produced the most graduate start-up companies of any higher education institution in the United Kingdom for the sixth year running!
