The 2,000 WW2 War Crimes Trials and the 1942 Condemnation of the Holocaust: issues from the UN at war for 21st Century Human Rights.

Dr Plesch is Director of the Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy at the School of Oriental and African Studies and author of America, Hitler and the UN.

Dr Plesch will offer ideas for student research and public engagement with these issues leading to the 70th Anniversary of the UN Declaration on the Persecution of the Jews in December and the creation of the UN War Crimes Commission of 1943‐48.
