Best practice in working with unaccompanied minors

About this event

Best practice in working with unaccompanied minors: developing a trauma-informed, multi-disciplinary approach in London.

The London Asylum Seekers Consortium (LASC) provides a central resource to London local authorities in the delivery of services to unaccompanied asylum seeking children and young people. In this informative seminar, Andree Ma and colleagues from the LASC Project Team will present insights from an innovative multidisciplinary approach to working with newly arrived separated children through the Pan London rota. The team will share emerging findings from a large number of Health & Welfare Screening Assessments carried out collaboratively by nurses and social workers, as well as insights from interventions and recommendations for best practice.

Booking is essential to attend this event.
