Developing critical reflection as a research method

In this seminar, Professor Jan Fook will describe what she has learnt about practitioners' experiences and how the understanding of them changes through a process of critical reflection.

She will also discuss how researchers' understanding of experiences might be different, and perhaps more valid, if a process of critical reflection is used when researching experiences.

This seminar will be of particular interest to those interested in innovative approaches for representing people's experiences.

This is a lunchtime seminar so please feel free to bring your lunch with you.

If you would like to come along and find out more about this study, please RSVP to Nikita Monteiro at: n.monteiro@sgul.kingston.ac.uk by Monday 3 March 2014.
