The Compact Scheme aims to support the transition and success of students joining Kingston University. If you have signed up to the Compact Scheme you can access a range of benefits including a single point of contact for you throughout your time at Kingston, as well as events and workshops exclusively for Compact Scheme students. You will also receive regular newsletter and email updates from us.
Please note applications to the Compact Scheme for 2016/17 are now closed and we are unable to accept any new applications.
If you are a care leaver or young carer, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out about the support available through our KU Cares programme.
Don't miss the welcome lunch for all new Compact Scheme students. Held during Kingston's Welcome Week, you will have the opportunity to meet the Compact staff and fellow students on the Scheme, find out about on course support – including the transitional workshops, and grab some free lunch, all in a relaxed and informal environment.
You should have received information about this event and how to book your place. If you have not, please contact us.
Please note you must be a member for the Compact Scheme to attend this event.
As part of the Compact Scheme you will have exclusive access to a series of transitional and on-course support workshops. These workshops are designed to supplement the support you will receive from your faculty and provide you with additional information and skills key to a successful first year at Kingston. We will send you a link so that you can book onto these workshops in advance, so keep an eye on your email inbox.
The Compact Scheme team are here to provide you with information, support and advice throughout the duration of your course. We can also put you in touch directly with the different support services at the University, depending on your needs. So if you are unsure about where to turn to, please get in touch with us.
I chose Kingston because of the support and help and the Compact Scheme available to care leavers. I get help for my literacy and study skills.
