What is chiropody?

Chiropody is the maintenance of feet in healthy condition. A chiropodist is a specialist who is responsible for the care of the feet of all ages of the population. The foot is a highly complex structure which, if care is not taken of it, can develop problems.

How might it help me?

Chiropody offers a variety of treatments to make your feet look and feel better, including:

  • nail cutting and correction of ingrown nails;
  • removal of corns, hard skin and callouses; and
  • attention to athletes’ foot and verrucas.
