Course features

  • The Health Informatics course allows you to study for a foundation degree while continuing to work in the NHS.
  • The flexible teaching methods include work-based learning and on-site delivery.
  • A workplace project forms part of your qualification, allowing you to focus on an area of interest.
  • Kingston University runs the course alongside St George’s Medical School and Royal Holloway. The three partners have expertise in complementary areas, which means you benefit from the strengths of each institution.
  • If you successfully complete the course, you will be eligible to apply to top-up your qualification to an honours degree. If you complete the BSc(Hons) third year, you may also be able to apply to take an MSci in Biomedical Informatics.
  • After graduating, you will be able to contribute to raising the standards of clinical care worldwide though the more effective use of data, information and knowledge in medical care.
