Barbara Freeman Archive

Notebooks, sketchbooks and other material relating to Barbara Freeman, a student at Kingston School of Art in the 1920s.

Gipsy Hill Teacher Training College Archive, 1917-1970s

Archives of Gipsy Hill Teacher Training College, which was founded in 1917 and was amalgamated with Kingston Polytechnic in 1975. The archive also contains material relating to the life of its first principal, Lillian de Lissa (1885-1967).

School of Art (Knight’s Park)

This collection relates to the Kingston School of Art (also Kingston College of Art) prior to its merger with Kingston Polytechnic. There are a number of prospectuses, volumes of press cuttings, some records relating to former students, and minutes of meetings.

Kingston University

The archive currently holds a small amount of miscellaneous material relating to Kingston University and its predecessor institutions, Kingston Polytechnic and Kingston College of Technology. The collection includes a number of photographs.
