When it asks for your borrower number you need to type in
- All 8 digits of your ID number which is on your KU ID card, without a k
- Your 4 digit Library PIN number
Remember to click on 'log out' once you have finished looking at your account.
Check when your loans are due to be returned
When you have logged into your account, you will see your loans listed on the screen.
There is a column on the right called Due Date, this is the date that the item must be returned or renewed by.
You can also see the items you borrowed in the last six months by clicking on Loan History, which is a button at the bottom right of your list of loans.
Use self service machines to check your account
You can use the Your Account option on the self service machines to look at what you have on loan to you. It will print you a receipt showing all the items on your account and any fines you have outstanding.
You can also use the Renew Items option if you wish to extend the loan period on items you have already taken out.
Check if you have any outstanding fines or charges
When you have logged into your account look at Charges which is on the left of the screen below Your account summary.
If you already have some outstanding fines the amount will be shown here. For more information on why you have been fined look at the section called Fines and charges.
If any of your books are overdue they will be listed in red, and in the column on the right called Fines to date will be the amount you owe on that item so far. This will increase every day, or hour for a Counter loan, until you return or renew the item.
Look at the section on Renewing for more information on how to renew using your account.
