Photocopying
In each LRC we provide self-service photocopiers which can copy onto paper or acetate.
Please take care not to infringe copyright when you are photocopying. There is information about copyright next to every photocopier and more information in the copyright section.
Photocopying prices
Using a photocopy card
Once you have a photocopy card and have credit on it, photocopying costs:
- 5p for an A4 black and white copy
- 10p for an A3 black and white copy
- 40p for an A4 colour copy
- 60p for an A3 colour copy
Using cash
There are photocopiers at all sites that accept coins. Photocopying by coin is more expensive so please consider buying a photocopy card.
- 10p for an A4 black and white copy
- 20p for an A3 black and white copy
Photocopy cards
Most of our photocopiers need a photocopy card to operate them.
At the Nightingale Centre and Penrhyn Road, they can be bought for 50p from a card dispenser.
At Knights Park and Roehampton Vale, they can be bought for 50p from the help desk.
Adding credit to your photocopy card
MAY 2012: Please only load copy cards with credit that you know you will need. These cards will no longer be used with the new print/copy solution being implemented in the summer.
You need to use a value loader to add credit to your photocopy card. There is at least one at each LRC, usually near the machine you bought the card from.
To add credit to your card, simply insert it followed by some coins.
The first time you use the value loader, you may be asked to choose a four digit pin number. If you do not want a pin number, select 'Q' for Quit.
