Viewing facilities
These are viewing facilities available to special members and visitors, some of them can only be used by special members who can borrow. There are more viewing facilities available to current students in seminar rooms.
Watching DVDs and videos
DVD and video players can be found at all four sites. DVDs must be borrowed before they can be watched.
Headphones and remote controls can be borrowed from the help desk.
Listening to music
On the first floor of the Nightingale Centre, there are listening stations for you to listen to the wide range of CDs, cassettes and records that we hold.
There is also a listening station and a small selection of music at Knights Park LRC.
Headphones can be borrowed from the help desk.
Viewing slides (Knights Park only)
Knights Park LRC holds a collection of over 250,000 slides. There are light boxes in the library to view the slides on.
Please note we are unable to copy slides.
Reading microfiche and microfilm
There are microfiche and microfilm readers at all four sites. Some journals are available in this form.
Please contact a member of staff if you need help using them.
