Renew an item using the catalogue
Most people renew their items online using iCat. This can be done on campus or from home.
- First, sign in to iCat
- External members: Use the Sign in [External] link in the top right corner and sign in with the 8 digit number on your card and your PIN number
- Current students and staff: Use the Sign in [Kingston] link in the top right corner and sign in using your Kingston University username and password
- Then click My Account. If you do not sign in first, your account will appear empty. All the items you have on loan will be displayed, with their due dates.
- Select Renew or Renew All to renew your loans. The Due date for the renewed items will be updated.
Counter loan and Project loan items can only be renewed at the counter. You will not be able to renew an item which has been reserved by another borrower.
