Members of the public

Visitors who are not in higher education are welcome to make use of the Library service on a reference only basis. Please come to the Reception desk on arrival so that you can be issued with a day pass.

You will need to provide a form of ID, such as:

  • A library card from another institution
  • Your driving licence
  • Your passport

You will then have reference access to print resources, for example, books, journals, newspapers, teaching resources and university prospectuses. We regret that Kingston University dissertations and theses are kept on closed access and are only available to current Kingston University students and staff.

Please note, we do not offer public access PCs or access to the WiFi network. The WiFi network is available to non members of Kingston University only via the Eduroam service for members of other HE institutions.

If you would like to be able to borrow, you will need to purchase membership rights.
