We realise that arriving in a new country and meeting new people can be confusing and stressful, as well as exciting. For each main intake we organise a number of orientation and welcome events and services to help you make friends and feel at home. We understand that arriving in a new country can be both exciting and a bit scary. That's why we offer a free airport pick-up service from Heathrow and Gatwick airports. Simply book your flight for the pick-up date and register online.

If you have any problem or questions, visit the International Welcome Centre for help, advice and guidance. Here you can make a free phone call home, use the internet, meet other students and much more!

International enrolment

Enrolment is when you officially register on your course and is very important. We will have dedicated enrolment dates for international students so that you can get it done early and enjoy the time before your classes start.

Escorted police registration

If you need to register with the police when you arrive in the UK, please check the registering with the police page for further details of how to do this. We'll be accompanying a group of students to the Overseas Visitors Records Office to register so, if you'd like to come with us, sign up at the International Welcome Centre.

Provide a context to your studies in Britain by learning all about Britain, its history, culture and much more. The course also includes exciting field trips.

If you need help. . .

Wherever you are, our team of staff and student helpers will be on hand to help and guide you. Our team of staff and student helpers will be wearing bright green t-shirts and happy to assist you.

Look for our 'green team' when you:

  • arrive at the airport;
  • get to the International Welcome Centre; or
  • participate in any of our events.
