Welcome and orientation events: International enrolment
Enrolment is when you officially register on your course and is very important. We will have dedicated enrolment dates for international students so that you can get it done early and enjoy the time before your classes start.
How does it work?
Enrolment has two stages:
- Stage one: You need to register your personal details online through OSIS (Kingston's Online Student Information System). We strongly advise that you do this before you leave for the UK. You will be able to print an enrolment checklist once you have completed enrolment stage one.
- Stage two: You will do this at the University in person. We will check that we have all your details, confirm how your fees are going to be paid (where applicable) and issue you with a Kingston University student ID card.
When and where
Details of the September 2012 international enrolment will be published closer to the time.
What to bring?
Your passport and, where applicable, your visa or biometric residence permit, qualifications certificates and enrolment checklist (if you have already completed enrolment stage one).
What if I don't do stage one before arriving at Kingston?
If you haven't been able to register online before you arrive, you will be able to do so on the day you complete stage two.
If you want to avoid queues and make your enrolment a faster process, we advise you to complete stage one before you arrive.
What if I miss enrolment?
If you miss the international enrolment dates, your Faculty will provide you with their Faculty enrolment details when you arrive at the University. However, we strongly recommend that you enrol with other international students on the dates specified above; enrolling later will mean that you won't have an ID card and access to many University resources until you do.
Remember: if you enrol at the international enrolment sessions, you will not have to enrol on your faculty enrolment day.
