Thailand
This guide isĀ for students from Thailand interested in studying at Kingston University.
Studying at Kingston
Kingston University has welcomed students from Thailand into many departments, including Business, Art and Design and Social Sciences. Our Marketing MA, Marketing Communications and Advertising MA and International Business Management MSc courses are particularly popular with Thai students, as are a number of our Art, Design and Architecture programmes.
One of our successful Illustration and Animation BA(Hons) students, Napatsawan Chirayukool even won an award for her heart-warming, two-minute animation What Makes Your Day which is about the 'little pieces of happiness' that make a person's day:
Academic excellence
Students from Thailand are attracted to Kingston University by its international reputation in teaching quality, supportive learning environment and proximity to London.
In 2010, The Sunday Times noted that "Kingston has one of the best teaching records of the country's modern universities with 15 subjects rated excellent under the now abandoned teaching assessment programme. It sets out to make sure students have transferable skills and offers a range of work-based courses."
Kingston was also the highest rated 'new' university in Business and Management Studies, with 10% of the research submitted classified as 'world-leading' and 35% as 'internationally excellent' according to the latest Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) in 2008.
