Why did you choose to study in the UK?
"I always wanted to live in the UK and the undergraduate degree programmes here offered the opportunity to study what I wanted in three years."
Why did you choose Kingston University?
"I knew I wanted to study film, and Kingston had the perfect television programme to support it. The choice of student societies was wonderful and I knew I would be accepted for who I was. Plus I loved how close Kingston was to central London and all the resources that would be available."
Did you find the transition of moving to London easy?
"The Meet & Greet Service is amazing. It's so stressful moving to a new country and I can't imagine having to make my own way to the University without being familiar with the area. It's the best service you can have when first arriving."
How did you find studying at Kingston University?
"My film lecturers are so passionate about what they teach that the energy can't help but be transferred to the students. They want to make sure that we love what they are teaching as much as they do."
What is it like being an international student at Kingston University?
"I'm the same as every other student really, which is wonderful. I go to class every day, hang out with my friends and go out at night. It's what student life should be like."
