At Kingston University we offer a comprehensive programme of orientation events to help you transition into your new life in the UK.
Here is some information about the events and services that were on offer for our September 2016 intake. Information about our January 2017 intake programme will be available soon.
Enrolment is when you officially register on your course and is very important. There are different kinds of enrolment for different types of students and it's important to know which one you need to attend. Your enrolment slot takes priority over other activities so keep an eye out for an email from our enrolment team.
As an international student, you'll have some extra needs and matters to attend to when you arrive, so our International Orientation is designed to introduce you to the University and Kingston upon Thames, familiarise you with your new surroundings and provide important information.
If you're coming to the UK on a visa you'll need to collect your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) within ten days of your arrival in the UK, and in order to enrol on your course. For a small percentage of international students, you may also need to register with the police within seven days of arrival. During International Arrivals and Orientation we offer to help you with these matters.
Our International Arrivals and Orientation Guide (PDF) is now available to download.
