International Arrivals Lounge

Our International Arrivals Lounge has been created especially for you!

Our special lounge will be open for students who have used our airport pick-up service, to meet others, use our facilities, go on a campus or town centre tour and get advice, guidance and useful information.

Here you'll be able to:

  • leave your luggage;
  • relax with refreshments;
  • call home for free;
  • use our PCs;
  • find out more about our social events;
  • find out about opening a bank account and choosing a mobile phone network;
  • meet and socialise with other students, student ambassadors and staff;
  • go on a tour of Kingston town centre or Penrhyn Road campus;
  • get information about public transport;
  • sign up for one of our escorted supermarket trips, taking place on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 September;
  • collect your free copy of the novel My Name is Leon, written by Kit de Waal, as part of the Kingston University Big Read
  • sign up to collect your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) before you enrol only applicable to students studying here on a visa;
  • find out more about police registration (if required); and
  • get visa and immigration advice (if required).

When: Tuesday 12 September – Wednesday 13 September 2017, 08.00 – 20.00 and Thursday 14 September – Friday 15 September 2017, 08.00 – 18.00.

Where: Penrhyn Road campus, John Galsworthy building, first floor, room 2002.
