- Pre-sessional English language course
Improve and develop your academic English language skills and learn study skills strategies to help you succeed in your academic studies as well as insight into life in the UK.
- International foundation year (IFY) and International Year One (Business)
Gain the language and academic skills required to gain access to a Kingston University undergraduate course.
- English language development programme
Once your main course has started, this free programme offers a range of academic English courses and tutorials to support you throughout the academic year.
- Pre-masters programme (Business and Management)
Achieve the language and academic skills required for a business and management masters degree at Kingston University.
If you need to study for your IELTS examination in Britain, we recommend you use a British Council-accredited English language school.
The University has an excellent relationship with Wimbledon School of English that offers a university English language programme designed to help you reach the required level of English for your chosen course.
Pre-sessional course accreditation
Our pre-sessional English course is accredited by the British Association of Lecturers in English for Academic Purposes (BALEAP). This organisation sets rigorous criteria to ensure that courses in English language and study skills for speakers of other languages are of a high standard and provide an excellent quality of service.
