Pre-sessional English language courses
Every summer the School of Humanities runs pre-sessional English courses. These are designed to help you start your academic studies with confidence. The full programme includes:
- language classes;
- lectures and seminars;
- project work;
- essay writing; and
- presentations.
It gives you the chance to practise and develop the academic English and study skills you will need for your degree course. Social and cultural activities help you to make new friends and become familiar with Britain and our way of life.
