Economics alumnus Stefano Ciampolini returns to campus to share his insights into entrepreneurship in the healthcare industry

More than 90 alumni, students and staff joined Economics alumnus Stefano Ciampolini as he shared his inside knowledge on entrepreneurship in the healthcare industry, offering that experience and insight on what investors are looking for.

Returning to campus for Kingston Business School's Strategy into Practice series, Stefano shared his journey as a healthcare entrepreneur. The lecture highlighted the many pitfalls that can befall the entrepreneur.

Stefano, who graduated with a BA in Economics from Kingston University in 1993, is a partner at Healthcare Capital Partners, a private equity and corporate finance advisory boutique specialised in life sciences and healthcare ventures that he founded in 2002. As part of his investment activities, Stefano is a founder and board member of several healthcare ventures and private equity funds in Europe and the US, with Renal Services as part of this portfolio.

After the lecture, guests were given the chance to ask questions and share ideas with Stefano, as well as each other during our networking hour.

The Strategy into Practice series at Kingston University is generously supported by Santander Universities.
