    • Tuesday 17 April 2012
      • Morning session: 11.00am–3.30pm
      • Afternoon session: 2.00pm–6.30pm
  • Joint honours students are advised to book one subject area session in the morning and one in the afternoon

  • Please be aware: during lab tours, due to health and safety regulations, numbers inside the labs are limited. We will therefore give priority to applicants, and guests may be asked to wait in an area provided during this time.

Features

Here is what is available on the taster days:

  • Campus tours
    Will leave ad-hoc throughout the day. These tours given by our current students will give you an idea of what it is really like to study at Kingston University and familiarise you with the facilities and services available at the campus at which you will spend the majority of your time.
  • Taster sessions
    Attend a taster session where you can take part in a specifically designed interactive workshop where you will get a real feel for the subject area which you have applied for.
  • Subject and support service Q&A stand area
    Course representatives as well as support staff from Accommodation; Funding; Disability and Dyslexia Support; and Careers and Employability will be available to answer any questions you may have and can direct you to the relevant information on the web and provide you with print materials to take away.
  • Ask me booths
    Ask me booths will be located around the campus staffed by Student Ambassadors who will be there to answer any of your questions and share their experiences of student life.
  • Top tips – student life
    An interactive session with Student Ambassadors focusing on the student life aspects of university. What it is like when you first arrive at university , making friends, studying, taking part and joining clubs and societies and where to go out.
  • Compact Scheme – how the scheme can support you
    A session given by Kingston University's widening participation co-ordinator and current Compact Scheme students. The session will describe the benefits of the Compact Scheme and how it can support first generation students from pre-application all the way through to graduation.
  • Study or Work Abroad
    Ever thought of studying film in Los Angeles, international relations in the heart of France, or business in Hong Kong? With more than 100 partner universities, Kingston University students can choose from destinations all over the world. Come find out about where you can go as part of your Kingston degree.
